Studio Symoné launched in 2022. That summer, we held a series of Summer Fridays at Reparations Club in West Adams, Los Angeles to convene. There were no panels. There wasn’t even an explicit nod toward beauty in the traditional way, aside from our gift bags. It was about presence. Showing up. Being present. And making new friends in a way that felt organic.
